Wigan Golf clubs Junior Captain

Our 2010 Junior Captain  - Bradley Gregson has been a member since 2002 and represented the club in the Junior Victory trophy events and has played in all of the Junior team matches.

His other notable sporting achievements is playing football for Appley Bridge Juniors He has attended both Preston North End and Blackpool Academies, now playing in the senior reserves for AFC Liverpool, the County Schoolboy’s and was an England U18 Schoolboy’s trialist in November 2009.

He is currently studying for his A' Levels at Winstanley college and would like to study Medicine at University.

Junior Captains Event . Enrollment of the Junior Captain was victim of the adverse Christmas weather. So we are now looking to hold the event during the Easter break. The event will consist of 18 holes of golf tee time 1.30pm, for those of you not wanting to complete a round of golf there will be a lesson with Chris Clarke at 3.30pm until 5.30pm the competition and the lesson will be followed by the enrollment of the Junior Captain and then dinner. We will be joined by the Captain of the club and the Lady captain on the day and your family and friends.

Match - Juniors v Haigh Hall JuniorsAs a warm up for the up and coming fixtures of the South Lancs league we have our annual Easter friendly against our closest rivals Haigh Hall. If you are interested in playing then please put your name down on the team sheet on the junior noticeboard. The match will start at 10.00am on the day

Juniors Spring Trophy - Holder Phil Dawson The first of this seasons majors will be played on the 2nd May 2010.
